Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

@kaleido-io/core-sdk

Core utilities shared across the Kaleido TypeScript SDK family — HTTP transport, logging, service-binding resolution, and setup context.

Installation

npm install @kaleido-io/core-sdk

Entry points

The package exposes four entry points:

Logging

Use newLogger to create a named logger and setLoggerFactory to plug in your own logging library at application startup:

Loggers are late-binding proxies — a setLoggerFactory call takes effect even for loggers already created before it.

Service bindings

Use resolveServiceBinding to build ServiceClientOptions from a Kaleido YAML config file, or resolveServiceBindingFromMap to resolve from a parsed config map:

HTTP transport

createServiceTransport builds an HTTPTransport or WSProxyTransport from ServiceClientOptions. This is primarily used by the typed service clients (AssetManagerClient, etc.) internally. You can also use configureHttpClient to apply shared Axios defaults:
