@kastel.ai/cli
Kastel is the sovereign context layer for small and mid-sized companies. It builds, structures and governs your company's context - organisation, processes, areas of responsibility, entities, memory - and exposes it over MCP to the AI runtime you already use (Claude, Cursor, Codex, and others). It runs on your own infrastructure, and it never calls home.
Kastel does not run models. It is the layer your AI plugs into to know your company.
Status of this package
This is a name placeholder. The one-command installer is built and tested, but Kastel is not distributed publicly yet, so this package deliberately carries no installer logic. Running it prints a status message and exits.
It will be replaced by the real launcher at version 0.1.0, at which point
npx @kastel.ai/cliwill take a machine with Docker from nothing to a running Kastel deployment,
with your AI clients wired to it. The command this package installs is named
kastel, so after npm install -g @kastel.ai/cli you simply type kastel.
Follow the release at kastel.ai.
Licensing, stated plainly
This package is Apache-2.0. The Kastel Engine is a separate artifact under its own proprietary licence (Kastel Engine EULA) and is not part of this package.
