Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

pi-cognee

Cognee AI memory for Pi — your coding agent with persistent, queryable knowledge graph memory.

Two backends, one interface:

Install

pi install npm:@kerryhatcher/pi-cognee

Quick Start (SDK mode)

SDK mode works immediately — no server needed. Just set your LLM API key:

# In pi:
/cognee-config llmApiKey sk-...
/cognee-config llmModel gpt-4o-mini

Then start using memory:

> Remember this: the project uses Postgres with Prisma ORM
> What database does this project use?

MCP Mode

If you run a Cognee MCP server, switch to MCP mode:

/cognee-mode mcp
/cognee-config mcpUrl http://localhost:8001/mcp
