Superbase ⚡
Superbase is a lightweight, opinionated, and type-safe wrapper for the Supabase JS Client.
It was built by KeyLabs to solve one specific problem: Repetitive typing of long Supabase syntax.
By abstracting away the boilerplate, Superbase allows you to perform database operations, authentication, storage management, and realtime subscriptions in a single line of code.
✨ Why Superbase?
- Zero Boilerplate: No more
.from('table').select('*').match({ id: 1 }).maybeSingle(). Justdb.getSingle('table', '*', { id: 1 }). - Smart Diagnostics: Automatically warns you in the console if your RLS policies are missing or if you've misspelled a table name.
- Full Type Safety: Supports your generated Supabase
Databasetypes for complete IntelliSense and auto-completion. - One-Line Realtime: Subscribe to database changes without managing channels or complex event listeners.
- Async/Await Native: Methods throw errors directly, eliminating the need to check
if (error)for every single call.
🚀 Quick Start
import { createSuperbase } from '@keylabs/superbase';
const db = createSuperbase(YOUR_URL, YOUR_KEY);
// Fetch data in one line
const users = await db.get('profiles');
// Upload a file in one line
await db.upload('avatars', 'me.png', file);
// Subscribe to changes in one line
db.subscribe('messages', 'INSERT', (msg) => console.log(msg));📖 Documentation
