Kitera BLE SDK
The Kitera BLE SDK provides a React Native interface for communicating with K-STEM BLE devices in technician workflows. It helps apps discover and connect to devices, read live sensor and status data, run calibration routines, switch network modes, and support offline testing through mock scenarios.
Overview
This package is designed for applications that need to work with connected hardware in a reliable and structured way. It supports:
- BLE device discovery and connection
- Reading device information and battery state
- Monitoring signal and sensor status
- DEN1 and DEN2 calibration workflows
- Switching the device to satellite mode
- Cellular configuration and firmware update flows
- Mock mode for development and testing
Installation
Install the package in your React Native app:
npm install @kitera/kitera-ble-sdkThe SDK depends on the following peer dependencies:
- react
- react-native
- react-native-ble-plx
- rxjs
If your app uses the native modules included by the SDK, complete the native setup step as well:

Mock mode enables deterministic offline behavior for development, testing, and demonstrations. It is useful when BLE hardware is unavailable or when you want repeatable results.
Build and validation
If you are working from the monorepo, you can validate the package with:
