kf — the Knowledge Futures Console CLI: sign in, link a project, deploy
Readme
@knowledgefutures/kf
kf, the command line for the Knowledge Futures Console:
sign in, scaffold and link a project, run it locally with its services
resolved, and deploy it.
npm i -g @knowledgefutures/kf # Node 24+
kf login # device code — approve it in your browser
kf init # the manifest, its secrets files, AGENTS.md, agent skills
kf link # create/attach the project and apply the manifest
kf sync # write the build workflow and what else the repo derives
kf check # what is missing or behind, each with its fix
kf deploy # build here and deploy
kf secrets # which keys each environment's sops files hold
kf run -e staging -- pnpm migrate # a command with staging's secrets in its env
kf help # everything else; kf help <command> for its flagsOr without installing: pnpm dlx @knowledgefutures/kf <command>.
For agents: every command prints JSON into a pipe, and kf skills install
writes Claude Code skills (/kf-init, /kf-add-service, /kf-deploy) into
the repo's .claude/skills (--global: into your own, so /kf-init works in
a repo kf has not seen). kf init installs them too; kf sync keeps them
current.
It talks to the production console. KF_AUTH_URL and KF_CONSOLE_URL point it
at another (a local pnpm dev of the console is http://auth.kf.localhost:3100
and http://console.kf.localhost:3100).
What a project declares and what the services give it:
console.knowledgefutures.org/llms.txt.
