Angular wrapper for KodaEditor - a WYSIWYG rich-text editor that keeps Word, Excel and Google Docs formatting intact when your users paste.

Not a code editor. This is the box your users write a contract, a report or an article in.

The core package is pulled in automatically as a dependency.

What survives a paste from Word

Tables with merged cells, column widths and row heights. Numbered and bulleted lists, including nesting and lists inside table cells. Colours, highlight, alignment. Runs of spaces used for layout. Images, which most editors drop entirely.

Direct import too: .docx, .xlsx, .csv, PDF, HTML, Markdown, plain text.

Server-side rendering

The package imports cleanly in Node, so Next.js, Nuxt and SvelteKit will not break on import. The custom element registers only where a DOM exists, so the server renders an empty element and hydration is clean.

Trying it without a licence

Everything works from the first minute: nothing is switched off, nothing is time-limited, no signup. An unlicensed installation carries a watermark and adds one line to everything you export saying the file was created in trial mode. Files still open normally and nothing is limited.
