Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

broski

A terminal chat app for talking with your Anomaly bots. It supports multiple conversations, attachments, local history, and themes.

Install

npm install -g @kommander/broski

Use

broski --gateway <gateway-url>

Local diagnostic logs are written under ~/.config/broski/logs/tui/, in separate gateway/profile directories. Each diagnostics.log includes build/runtime context and excludes conversation content and credentials.

Develop from source

From the repository root:

bun install --frozen-lockfile
cd apps/console-chat
bun dev --gateway <gateway-url>

No build step is needed. The app-local bunfig.toml loads OpenTUI's Solid preload, which transforms TSX and selects Solid's client runtime. Running bun run src/main.tsx --gateway <gateway-url> from this directory works too. Restart the command after source edits.
