Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

@koncile/n8n-nodes

n8n community nodes for the Koncile API. Manage folders, templates, fields, instructions, documents, and file uploads directly from your n8n workflows.

Installation

n8n Cloud / Self-hosted

  1. Go to Settings > Community Nodes
  2. Click Install a community node
  3. Enter @koncile/n8n-nodes
  4. Click Install

Manual

npm install @koncile/n8n-nodes

Credentials

  1. In n8n, go to Credentials > Add Credential
  2. Search for Koncile API
  3. Enter your API key (get it from your Koncile account settings)
  4. Click Test to verify, then save

File - Upload

Uploads a binary file to Koncile. Requires selecting a folder and template. The binary property name defaults to data.

Task - Get Status

Returns the processing status and document ID for a given task ID (returned by file upload).

Folder

Full CRUD on folders. Delete supports an override flag to force-delete folders with contents.

Template

Full CRUD on templates within folders. Create supports duplicating from an existing template via an optional template ID.

Field

Full CRUD on fields within templates. Fields can be of type "General fields" or "Line fields".

Instruction

Full CRUD on instructions within fields.

Document

  • Get Many - List documents with optional filters (folder, template, date range)
  • Get Data - Retrieve extracted data from a processed document
  • Download - Download a document file by document ID or task ID (binary output)
  • Download Batch - Download multiple documents as a ZIP file
  • Delete - Delete a document, optionally including the associated file

Example Workflow

HTTP Request (fetch PDF) -> Koncile (Upload File) -> Koncile (Get Task Status) -> Koncile (Get Document Data)

Compatibility

  • Tested with n8n >= 1.0.0
  • Requires Node.js >= 20.15

Resources
