Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

The kura command-line tool.

kura index [--out app/_index.bin] [--model Xenova/bge-m3]

kura index builds the search index for a Kura docs app: it reads the June-frozen app/_content.ts, embeds every doc with bge-m3 (local, via @kurajs/transformers), and writes a compact index (app/_index.bin) that the app loads at runtime — so search never embeds the corpus on the request thread.

Typical use in a docs app's package.json:

{ "scripts": { "gen": "june gen && kura index", "build": "june build && kura index" } }

Run june gen first (it generates app/_content.ts), then kura index.
