Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

AgentMemory Cloud

AgentMemory is a private, device-scoped memory service for AI coding agents. It keeps durable memories, lessons, sessions, and search available across a workstation while running the backend at the Cloudflare edge.

Install in five minutes

The current preview supports Windows native and Linux native. Deploy the Worker first, then install the device client:

npm install --global @kyokasui/agentmemory
agentmemory setup

Setup prompts for the Worker URL and a hidden device token or admin enrollment key, detects supported agents, previews changes, installs MCP/skills/hooks and the packaged global agent instructions idempotently, and verifies a save/search/delete roundtrip. Admin keys are never stored. For automation, set AGENTMEMORY_URL plus AGENTMEMORY_SECRET or AGENTMEMORY_ADMIN_KEY, then run agentmemory setup --non-interactive --yes --json. Use --no-global-instructions only when you explicitly do not want the global instruction contract installed.

Global instructions are installed only for detected supported hosts: Codex (~/.codex/AGENTS.md), OpenCode ($XDG_CONFIG_HOME/opencode/AGENTS.md), Gemini CLI and Antigravity (~/.gemini/GEMINI.md), and Crush (~/.config/AGENTS.md). Existing regular files are backed up and preserved with one managed block; unrelated symlinks are refused safely. agentmemory verify --json checks the source hash, ownership, and every configured host target.

Supported agents

Codex, OpenCode, Crush, Gemini CLI, and Antigravity are supported on Windows native and Linux native. See the generated support matrix for native events, formats, and host limitations.

OpenCode 1.18.x registers the local bridge directly as mcp.agentmemory with type: "local" and enabled: true. Codex expresses native hook timeouts in seconds, so the 400 ms runtime policy is represented by a 1-second host timeout; SessionEnd is capped by Codex at 3 seconds. The bridge and plugin keep the actual AgentMemory network watchdog fail-open at 400 ms.

Privacy promise

Metadata-only capture is the default. Hook payloads exclude prompts, tool arguments, shell commands, file contents, transcript paths, environment variables, tokens, and device secrets. Hooks fail open if AgentMemory is unavailable.

Verify

agentmemory verify --json
