Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

@kyralabs/m3e-icons

Subset the Material Symbols variable font so an app only ships the icons it uses. The full fonts come from @kyralabs/m3e-tokens (Rounded by default; Outlined and Sharp too).

npm install --save-dev @kyralabs/m3e-icons

Usage

npx m3e-icons subset --names home,search,menu --out public/icons.woff2 --css public/icons.css

The CSS is a drop-in @font-face for .m3e-icon. Options: --names-file, --style rounded|outlined|sharp, --fill, --wght, --grad, --opsz (pin a value or narrow a range), --family and --font; run npx m3e-icons for the full usage. Build scripts can call the exported subsetIcons() instead.
