Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Macaw CLI

Discover the components installed in your project and set up agent guidance. This package has no React or component runtime dependencies.

pnpm add -D @langchain/macaw-cli
pnpm exec macaw search "loading"
pnpm exec macaw inspect Button --json
pnpm exec macaw init

Run commands in a project with @langchain/macaw-components installed. Discovery reads that version's catalog, so import suggestions match the installed API. list, search, and inspect support --json; search also accepts --limit.

init creates .agents/skills/macaw/SKILL.md with links to the installed usage guidance. It leaves existing files unchanged. No configuration is written during npm installation. Agent integration templates live in this package; canonical component guidance lives in @langchain/macaw-components.
