Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

nodwork is the terminal CLI for nod.work.

Overview

nodwork lets you use nod.work from your terminal.

Generate a bootstrap token in the nod desktop app or mobile app, then sign in with:

nodwork --token <token>

Install

npm i -g @langgenius/nodwork

Other install and run entrypoints:

npx @langgenius/nodwork
bun add -g @langgenius/nodwork
bunx @langgenius/nodwork

Run

After a global install, start the CLI with:

nodwork

Show help:

nodwork --help

Login

Interactive login:

nodwork

Login with a bootstrap token:

nodwork --token <token>

For headless login with a bootstrap token:

nodwork login --non-interactive --token <token>

<token> must be generated first from the nod desktop app or mobile app.

Headless GitHub login:

nodwork login --non-interactive --method github

Clear the stored session:

nodwork logout

The executable command is always:

nodwork
