Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Pure Node.js system fetch — a neofetch-style system report with zero runtime dependencies. Works on Linux, macOS and Windows (Node.js >= 18).

Install

npm install -g @leandjb/osfetch
pnpm add -g @leandjb/osfetch

Or run it without installing:

npx @leandjb/osfetch
pnpm exec @leandjb/osfetch

Usage

osfetch              # full report with logo and colors
osfetch --json       # machine-readable JSON output
osfetch --no-color   # disable ANSI colors (also honors NO_COLOR)
osfetch --no-logo    # render info lines only
osfetch --help       # show usage
osfetch --version    # show version

Platform support

Unknown flags print an error to stderr and exit non-zero.

Running tests

Requires Node.js >= 18. With pnpm:

pnpm install
pnpm test

Or with npm:

npm install
npm test

Tests run on Linux, macOS and Windows across Node 18, 20 and 22 in CI.
