Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

GitPulse companion terminal telemetry tool

Readme

⚡ @lekkerlegantpackages/gitpulse

An elite, brutally honest Git-based commit emotion, stress, and workload telemetry tracker CLI tool. Scan your local engineering logs safely and get actionable optimization metrics instantly.

🚀 Key Features

  • Zero-Knowledge Privacy Architecture: Analyzes local code modifications natively on-disk. It scrubs proprietary data fragments, code contents, and filenames before transmission. Only anonymous telemetry strings and line change metadata metrics are ever evaluated.
  • Granular Churn Analytics: Tracks total insertions, deletions, after-hours burnout coding anomalies, and core sentiment patterns.
  • Premium Terminal Dashboard: Outputs a high-elegance, bold, colored visual frame matrix displaying overall team health directly in your Command Prompt.

📦 Global Installation

Install the engine shortcut globally to your operating system via the public npm registry:

npm install -g @lekkerlegantpackages/gitpulse

⚡ Direct Execution Layout

Navigate your system terminal path directly into any active local repository directory containing valid git records, then execute the global shell command:

gitpulse

🧠 Operational Ingest Mechanics

  1. Local Scan Phase: CLI executes non-destructive background git log and shortstat extraction cycles natively over your directory on-disk.
  2. Visual Loader Feedback: Terminal initializes a real-time tracking bar loop parsing your commit payload arrays from 0% up to 100%.
  3. Cloud Synchronization: Anonymized metric properties are packaged into a secure JSON transmission payload and dispatched to ://gitpulse.com.
  4. Radar Print Render: Cloud AI fallback matrices parse data records and push back a beautiful colored plain-text report dashboard card layout.

🔧 Overriding Environment Variables

If you are developing or testing custom backend nodes locally, you can override the target endpoint by setting the following variable in your terminal session before execution:

# Windows Command Prompt
set GITPULSE_API_URL=https://vercel.app

# Linux / Mac / Bash Shell
export GITPULSE_API_URL="https://vercel.app"
