Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Installation

Usage

# Full wrapped (git + Claude Code tokens)
cc-wrapped

cc-wrapped --tokens

# Don't open browser automatically

Options

Requirements

  • Node.js 18+
  • Git (for git stats)
  • Claude Code (optional, for token stats - reads from ~/.claude/stats-cache.json)

What It Looks Like

The generated HTML includes:

  • Big Numbers: Total tokens, messages, commits, lines of code
  • Monthly Activity: Commit distribution by month
  • Day of Week: Your most productive day
  • Productive Hours: When you code the most
  • Token Breakdown: Input/output/cache token distribution
  • Achievements: Unlocked badges based on your activity

Sharing

  1. Run cc-wrapped in your project
  2. Open the generated HTML
  3. Take a screenshot or save as PDF (Cmd+P → Save as PDF)
  4. Share on Twitter/LinkedIn!
