Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

Replay/A-B evaluation primitives for evolution plans (community build)

Readme

@lmzhen/dsh-evolution-replay

Replay/A-B evaluation primitives for evolution plans: it reads the activity sidecar back, compares plan outcomes and provides the evolutionReplay service behind evolution replay.

Model surface

  • Model-visible: nothing of its own: no prompt section and no tool schema; /evolution replay is a human command; consumers own the model-visible effects.
  • Prompt prefix / KV cache: independent of request-prefix construction — it does not alter the assembled prompt or tool list; family rules: packages/README.md §"Model-visible prompt prefix and the KV cache".
  • Mount it? yes — the evolution-replay row, carried by the evolution-host, evolution-all and one-click evolution-preset bundles.

Known limitations

  • No known durable consumer gaps at this time. Runtime contracts are covered by package and boundary tests.
  • The activity-sidecar verdict is per read, and an unanswered read is its own state. When apply() meets bytes this build cannot read as the current format, every compare() result carries sourceCorrupt: true and its report states the leaderboard is NOT the recorded history (an empty list does not mean nothing happened); a later successful read clears the qualification (a repaired sidecar plus an io reload (HMR / plugin restart)), while the corruption stays observable through the one warn apply() emits at mark time. A read that THREW (the io failed, or no state could be produced at all) is neither verdict: compare() then carries sourceReadFailure: <message> and its report says the read FAILED — never "nothing was recorded". Any ANSWERED read (clean or corrupt) retires that failure, so both qualifications describe the current read rather than latching.

Runtime invariant: No companion is published. The platform auto-assembles nothing and the family mounts no <pkg>/invariant cordis row, so a companion here would never execute (v37 S2.1 / I-3).
