Warning This CLI is not ready for public use yet. The package is planned for publication, but you will not be able to finish connecting AI tool sessions until the main app is available. We will do a proper launch soon.
Merged CLI for connecting Claude Code, Codex, and other AI tools to your Merged AI usage dashboard.
Requirements
The Lube CLI runs on Node.js, so Node must be installed before you run lube. We recommend the current LTS (Node 20 or newer).
Install Node with either approach:
nvm (recommended if you manage multiple Node versions):
# macOS / Linux — see https://github.com/nvm-sh/nvm for the latest installer curl -o- https://raw.githubusercontent.com/nvm-sh/nvm/v0.40.3/install.sh | bash # restart your terminal, then install and select the LTS: nvm install --lts nvm use --ltsOn Windows, use nvm-windows.
Official installer: download the LTS build for your OS from the Node.js website at nodejs.org/en/download.
Confirm Node is available before continuing:
node --versionIf this prints a version, you are ready to run the CLI. If it reports "command not found", finish installing Node with one of the options above.
Background spool flusher needs Node too
lube ai daemon install registers a background scheduler (macOS LaunchAgent, Linux systemd --user timer, or Windows scheduled task) that periodically pushes any queued AI usage events while your tools are idle. That scheduler also runs on Node. If queued events stop draining in the background, confirm Node is installed (node --version) and re-run lube ai daemon install so the scheduler is pointed at your current Node.
