Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Host-neutral Aster commands and their standalone command-line host.

Catalogue discovery, SVG export and static review through host-neutral command plans and the standalone aster Node executable.

Usage

pnpm add -D @luscious-garden/aster-cli

The executable supports Node >=24.10.0 <25; installation brings compatible Core, Icons and SVG dependencies.

pnpm exec aster list icons
pnpm exec aster export icon aster/camera
pnpm exec aster version --all

A project installation normally needs the package manager's execution command, a package script or an explicit local binary path. Bare aster requires an executable in the shell's command search path. The shell guide owns these invocation alternatives, command grammar, version sources and failure behaviour.

For a custom host, the public AsterCommands composition returns command results and plans without filesystem effects. The programmatic API owns contexts and execution contracts.
