Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Component State Worker

Inspect and edit live LVCE Editor component state as JSON.

The worker provides the component-state grid view and the live-component-state:///<uid>.json filesystem implementation used by LVCE Editor.

Development

Open the repository in a devcontainer to use Node.js 24 with dependencies installed and the development server started automatically. Port 3000 is forwarded for browser access.

To develop locally:

npm ci
npm run dev

Open http://localhost:3000, then run Developer: Open Component State from the command palette. Select an editable component to open its live state as a JSON file. Saving that file applies the new state to the running component.

Run the browser tests headlessly with:

npm run build
npm run build:static
npm run e2e:headless
