Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Composable Express server stack: Drizzle ORM, tRPC, Kernel infrastructure, and Core Modules (auth, billing, file, AI, etc.). Clay, Docx, Pdf, Social, and Video ship as @m5kdev/module-* Optional packages.

Consumption

This package is source-only. Consume it via the exports map in package.json with a TypeScript-aware bundler or runtime (e.g. in an app under apps/* that compiles or resolves these paths). Import by subpath, for example:

  • @m5kdev/backend/app
  • @m5kdev/backend/base/*
  • @m5kdev/backend/modules/auth/*
  • @m5kdev/backend/trpc
  • @m5kdev/backend/types

@m5kdev/backend/modules/base/* still re-exports Kernel infrastructure. Do not import Clay, Docx, Pdf, Social, or Video from this package.

Scripts

From repo root:

  • Lint: pnpm exec turbo lint --filter=@m5kdev/backend
  • Type-check: pnpm exec turbo check-types --filter=@m5kdev/backend
  • Test: pnpm exec turbo test --filter=@m5kdev/backend
