Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Prerequisites

The CLI have dependencies that require Node 8.9 or higher, together with NPM 5.5.1 or higher.

Installation

BEFORE YOU INSTALL: please read the prerequisites

Install Globally

npm install -g @malopez1578/projectcli

Install Locally

npm install @malopez1578/projectcli

Install Specific Version (Example: 1.0.0)

npm install -g @malopez1578/[email protected]

Usage

project [--start, --build, --help]

Show help

project --help

Generating and serving an project compile via a development server

cd PROJECT-NAME
project --start

Navigate to http://localhost:8080/. The app will automatically reload if you change any of the source files.

You can configure the default port used by the development server with one command-line options :

project --start --port 3030

Generating final compilation of the project in production mode

cd PROJECT-NAME
project --build

Generating initial project files in typescript or Javascript

cd PROJECT-NAME
project --new
