Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Runtime is the internal orchestration engine for the Manifesto protocol stack.

Internal Package: This package is not intended for direct consumption. Use @manifesto-ai/sdk.

Overview

Runtime sits between SDK and protocol layers and executes the action lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • 5-stage action pipeline: prepare → authorize → execute → persist → finalize
  • Shared type and error definitions
  • Policy routing and scope validation
  • Memory hub integration and context freezing
  • Branch and world-store orchestration
  • System runtime handling (system.* actions)

Non-Responsibilities

  • Public API contract design (SDK responsibility)
  • Pure semantic computation (Core responsibility)
  • Effect IO execution semantics (Host responsibility)
  • Governance decisions and lineage policy (World responsibility)

Installation

Runtime is consumed transitively by SDK.
