Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Maplab WASM

Rust/WebAssembly geospatial calculations for the Maplab browser client.

Requirements

  • Rust 1.97 or newer
  • wasm32-unknown-unknown target
  • wasm-pack 0.15 or newer

Build

cargo test
cargo clippy --all-targets -- -D warnings
wasm-pack build --target web --scope marcosousapoza --out-dir pkg

The generated pkg/ directory is an npm-compatible artifact and is not committed. It exports haversine_distance_km. Invalid coordinates return JavaScript NaN.

The environment is successfully configured when native tests pass and wasm-pack produces pkg/maplab_wasm.js, pkg/maplab_wasm.d.ts, and a .wasm binary.

Ownership

This repository owns the generated JavaScript/WASM contract. Report problems owned by another component in that component's GitHub repository.

Versioning

See VERSIONING.md. Use ./scripts/bump-version.sh patch|minor|major; matching vX.Y.Z tags publish the public scoped package to npmjs using trusted publishing.
