Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

@masselabs/openstoa

The OpenStoa SDK for Node: a typed REST client and client-side MLS chat crypto. Use this package when writing your own integration. For terminal commands or MCP tools, install only the CLI or MCP server; their shared dependencies install automatically.

Install

npm i @masselabs/openstoa

Node ≥ 20. ESM, CommonJS and TypeScript declarations are included.

OpenStoa docs is the maintained usage guide:

The login session identifies the account; an API key limits the allowed actions. For an agent business request, configure both token and apiKey in OpenStoaClient/ChatClient. A permission key does not replace proof login.

SDK development

Use the shipped TypeScript declarations and implementation as the API reference: src/index.ts, REST client, and types. Repository sources may be newer than your installed package; use its release tag when comparing behavior. Check the installed version with npm ls @masselabs/openstoa --depth=0.

From this package directory: npm run typecheck, npm test, npm run build. See release instructions for dependency setup and live integration verification.
