Documentation: Wiki (install, registering recipes, API, troubleshooting)
Install
npm install @mcbe-reciperegistry/client mcbe-ipcYou also need the Recipe Registry host behavior pack on the world (CurseForge). Details: Installation · Registering recipes
mcbe-ipc is from OmniacDev/MCBE-IPC. Drop-in recipe-registry-client.js (no bundler): Releases — place Omniac’s module beside it as mcbe-ipc.js.
Quick example
import { createBedrockClient } from "@mcbe-reciperegistry/client/bedrock";
// or: import { createBedrockClient } from "./recipe-registry-client.js";
const registry = createBedrockClient(5);
if (!(await registry.waitReady())) {
// host missing or schema mismatch — fail closed
} else {
registry.clearRecipes();
registry.addRecipe({
id: "mymod:crush_cobble",
stations: ["mymod:crusher"],
inputs: ["minecraft:cobblestone"],
outputs: ["minecraft:gravel"],
});
await registry.register({ source: "mymod" });
const yields = await registry.result({
station: "minecraft:furnace",
inputs: ["minecraft:beef"],
});
}Schema-1 JSON RPC is deprecated on the host; use this package instead. Schema-2 JSON-in-String IPC is unsupported (update host + client together).
