Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Overview

The MPLAB® Code Configurator (MCC) Melody 8-Bit MDFU Application Helper offers UI components and useful tips to help users efficiently configure an application compatible with a bootloader created using the 8-Bit MDFU Client Library module in MCC.

Components

  • 8-Bit MDFU Application Helper in MCC Melody – Offers support in setting up a functional application for bootloaders created using the 8-Bit MDFU Client Library.
  • 8-Bit MDFU Client Library in MCC Melody – Allows easy graphical configuration and code generation for bootloader client.
  • pyfwimagebuilder - Converts hex files into DFU image format, ensuring compatibility with bootloader requirements for seamless firmware updates.
  • pymdfu - Host Application to facilitate the transmission of DFU image to the bootloader client, streamlining the update process.

  • Specify the necessary linker and compiler options to enable 8-bit MCU compatibility with the 8-Bit MDFU Client library
