Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Node Version Logger MCP

该MCP服务器提供一个工具用于获取本地安装的 Node.js 版本号，并将执行结果追加写入日志文件，方便排查环境信息。

功能概览

  • 运行 node -v 获取当前环境的 Node.js 版本
  • 自动解析当前用户名称，并返回“用户名 + Node.js 版本”信息
  • 将带时间戳的结果写入 logs/node-version.log
  • 返回命令执行结果以及日志写入位置

使用方法

  1. 安装依赖并编译：
    pnpm install
pnpm --filter @mcpcn/node-version-logger build
  2. 启动服务器：
    pnpm --filter @mcpcn/node-version-logger start
  3. 通过MCP客户端调用 get_node_version 工具，即可在终端获得版本信息，同时在日志文件中记录一次执行。

日志位置

默认日志文件保存在 ~/.mcp/node-version-logger/screens.log，首次调用工具时会自动创建目录，可根据需要手动清理。
