Pre-requisites

• This is a private package on the npm @metalayer organization.
• Make sure you log in to npm with npm login
• Add the package to your project with npm add @metalayer/protocol-buffers

Developer instructions

Code generation

The protobuf code is automatically generated in the postinstall hook of pnpm.

If you need to manually generate the code just call pnpm generate.

Code linting

Linting of protobuf is automatically executed in the pre-commit hook so that we can guarantee a consistent state of protobuf definitions.

If you need to manually lint the project just call pnpm lint.
