Meterbus Wired Data-Link for WebAssembly

Wired M-Bus data-link frames and codecs for WebAssembly.

This package provides typed, validated frame construction plus exact and streaming decoders for the wired M-Bus link layer defined by EN 13757-2:2018+A1:2023. It uses browser-native WebAssembly generated from the meterbus-wired-datalink Rust crate with wasm-bindgen.

Installation

Add the package with pnpm:

pnpm add @meterbus/wired-datalink-wasm

Initialize the WebAssembly module before using its exports.

Usage

Construct, encode, and decode a REQ-UD2 short frame:

Decode frames incrementally:

Errors

Every data-link failure has a concrete error type with fields describing the invalid input. All concrete errors extend DatalinkError.
