Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

Project-specific AI coding configuration for Cursor, Codex, Claude Code and VS Code / GitHub Copilot.

This package never modifies your global ~/.cursor, ~/.codex, ~/.claude, or ~/.copilot configuration.

Quick start

From a project directory:

npx @methamorphe/ai-pack-project@latest -s nuxt

Multiple stacks:

npx @methamorphe/ai-pack-project@latest -s nuxt -s symfony
npx @methamorphe/ai-pack-project@latest -s angular,dotnet

Target another directory:

npx @methamorphe/ai-pack-project@latest -p ~/git/app -s flutter

Supported stacks

  • nuxt / vue
  • symfony / api-platform
  • flutter
  • angular
  • react
  • dotnet / .net / aspnet / aspnetcore

Targets

All four tools are installed by default:

Cursor + Codex + Claude Code + GitHub Copilot

Select one:

npx @methamorphe/ai-pack-project@latest -s nuxt --cursor-only
npx @methamorphe/ai-pack-project@latest -s nuxt --codex-only
npx @methamorphe/ai-pack-project@latest -s nuxt --claude-only
npx @methamorphe/ai-pack-project@latest -s nuxt --copilot-only

Or select several:

GitHub Copilot / VS Code integration

VS Code and GitHub Copilot use the existing AGENTS.md as the shared project-wide source of truth. The installer also merges a concise Copilot-specific section into .github/copilot-instructions.md without deleting existing content.

Stack Cursor .mdc rules are converted to .github/instructions/*.instructions.md. Cursor globs become Copilot applyTo patterns, so framework guidance only applies when matching files are involved.

The same deep stack SKILL.md files are installed into .github/skills/. VS Code/Copilot loads Agent Skills progressively and exposes them as reusable skills/slash commands.

Claude Code integration

The installer creates a small managed CLAUDE.md section importing:

@AGENTS.md

Cursor .mdc stack rules are converted to .claude/rules/*.md, with Cursor globs becoming Claude paths frontmatter. Stack specialist SKILL.md files are reused directly in .claude/skills/.

Context/token optimization

The pack uses:

  • narrowly-scoped framework rules
  • path-specific Copilot applyTo instructions
  • on-demand deep skills
  • stack-aware .cursorignore
  • concise durable state in docs/ai/current-state.md
  • fresh threads for substantially unrelated tasks

Options

-p, --project PATH target project, defaults to current directory
