Readme
The Microsoft C++ Language Server is currently in preview and may be subject to change in future releases.
Microsoft C++ Language Server brings the same C++ code intelligence used in Visual Studio and VS Code to GitHub Copilot CLI on Windows, macOS, and Linux. It provides fast, accurate understanding of C++ codebases with features like symbol search and semantic navigation.
Quick start
In GitHub Copilot CLI, install the plugin:
/plugin install cpp-language-server@copilot-pluginsIn a terminal, accept the license terms and sign in:
npx @microsoft/cpp-language-server --accept-eula --loginAdd a
compile_commands.jsonfile to your project, then launch GitHub Copilot CLI from the project root.

The license terms and third-party notices are included with this package in EULA/LICENSE.txt and ThirdPartyNotices.txt.
