Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Data Collector

Built with https://oclif.io/

Installation

npm i @mikestreety/data-collector

You can then access it with the following:

./node_modules/.bin/datacollector

In your package.json, you can add specific commands or a shortcut to the main command

"scripts": {
  "datacollector": "datacollector"
},

With this set, you can pass in your commands to a slightly shorter (and more memorable) command:

npm run datacollector -- letterboxd letterboxd.json -u mikestreety

Global

You can install it globally if you wish

npm i -g @mikestreety/data-collector

Which would allow you to run datacollector in your terminal

  • -d, --domain - the domain to get the webmentions from
  • -t, --token - your webmentions token from https://webmention.io/settings
