The pushkin binary — a schema-first enforcement harness that gates AI coding agents'
file writes against project contracts — packaged for npm. Same binary as cargo install
pushkin (crates.io) and uv tool install pushkin-cli (PyPI), same version.
npm i -D @mindmonkey/pushkin
npx pushkin --versionThis package is a thin launcher; the binary lives in one platform package that npm picks
via optionalDependencies (macOS arm64/x64, Linux x64/arm64 for glibc and musl). No
postinstall, no download at install time. Installing with --omit=optional leaves no
binary and the launcher says so.
Hooks: prefer a native install. Every call through this package pays a Node startup
on top of the native verdict. On a machine that also has the crates.io or PyPI binary,
put that one first on PATH — pushkin's hooks resolve pushkin from PATH by design.
Windows is not supported yet (the daemon binds a Unix socket). Provenance attestations are not attached while the source repository is private.
