Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

@fedimint/transport-react-native

Transport layer for React Native that bridges @fedimint/core with the native Fedimint client via UniFFI.

Overview

This package provides the transport layer that allows @fedimint/core to communicate with the Fedimint Rust client in React Native apps. It implements the Transport interface and uses UniFFI-generated bindings to call native code.

Differences from Web Transport

Web (`@fedimint/transport-web`)

Uses a Web Worker for WASM execution
Asynchronous message passing via postMessage
WASM runs in separate thread

React Native (this package)

Direct native calls via UniFFI (no worker needed)
Native code runs on native threads managed by React Native
Callback-based RPC calls
Synchronous FFI calls, async handled by Rust callbacks
