Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

v0.1.0

Published

The Attune CLI: read your workspace and queue client updates from a terminal, a skill or a CI step. Agents propose; humans release.

Readme

@minnio/attune

The Attune CLI, for callers with no browser: a skill running in another repo, a CI step, a post-deploy hook. It talks to the same /api/mcp endpoint Claude does.

Agents propose. Humans release. There is no publish command, because an agent key holds no scope that can publish.

Install

npm install -g @minnio/attune

Then install the skills that drive it:

attune install-skills

That copies five skills into ~/.claude/skills and records the version they came from. Existing skills are kept, not overwritten; pass --force if you want yours replaced.

Connect

In Attune, go to Settings → Agents & CLI and create a key. Copy it. Only a hash is stored, so that is the one and only time it is shown.

echo 'attn_ag_…' | attune login --url https://your-workspace.example

Pipe the key rather than passing --key: a flag lands in your shell history and is visible in ps. In CI, skip the file and set ATTUNE_URL and ATTUNE_API_KEY instead. Set both or neither.

Use

attune help # what this CLI can express
attune whoami # what this key on this workspace can reach
attune clients # ids you can propose against
attune engagements
attune propose <id> --type … --draft --items … --signals …
attune propose-engagement --client … --name …

help is generated offline from the tool registry. whoami asks the server. They differ when a command depends on a workspace setting, which is why the second one exists.

What it cannot do

Publish anything to a client. Create or rename a client. Everything an agent queues waits in Attune's Inbox for a person to release it.
