Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

OpenClaw plugin that gives agents persistent memory using Momo

Readme

openclaw-momo

OpenClaw plugin for persistent memory using Momo.

Long-term memory for OpenClaw. Automatically recalls relevant context, captures conversation turns, and gives your bot memory tools and commands.

Install

openclaw plugins install @momomemory/openclaw-momo

Restart OpenClaw after installing.

Configuration

You only need your Momo server URL. API key is optional (required only if your Momo server enforces auth).

Set environment variables:

export MOMO_OPENCLAW_BASE_URL="http://localhost:3000"
export MOMO_OPENCLAW_API_KEY="your-key" # optional

Or configure in openclaw.json:

{
  "plugins": {
    "entries": {
      "openclaw-momo": {
        "enabled": true,
        "config": {
          "baseUrl": "${MOMO_OPENCLAW_BASE_URL}",
          "apiKey": "${MOMO_OPENCLAW_API_KEY}"
        }
      }
    }
  }
}

Advanced options

| Key | Type | Default | Description | |-----|------|---------|-------------| | containerTag | string | openclaw_{hostname} | Memory namespace. All channels share this tag. | | autoRecall | boolean | true | Inject relevant memories before every AI turn. | | autoCapture | boolean | true | Automatically ingest the latest user/assistant turn after every successful agent run. | | maxRecallResults | number | 10 | Max memories injected into context per turn. | | profileFrequency | number | 50 | Inject full profile every N user turns. Search matches are injected every turn. | | captureMode | string | "all" | "all" filters short text and injected context. "everything" captures all text. | | debug | boolean | false | Verbose debug logging. |

How it works

  • Auto-Recall: before each AI turn, the plugin queries Momo and injects profile + relevant memories.
  • Auto-Capture: after each successful AI turn, the plugin ingests the latest turn into Momo conversation memory.
  • Namespacing: all memory operations are scoped by a container tag.

Slash commands

| Command | Description | |---------|-------------| | /remember <text> | Manually save something to memory. | | /recall <query> | Search memories and return ranked matches. |

AI tools

| Tool | Description | |------|-------------| | momo_store | Save information to long-term memory. | | momo_search | Search memories by query. | | momo_forget | Delete a memory by id or query. | | momo_profile | View the user profile (persistent + recent context). |

CLI commands

openclaw momo search <query> # Search memories
openclaw momo profile # View profile
openclaw momo wipe # Delete all memories in container (destructive)
