Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

@momots/design

React 19 interface primitives built with Base UI, Motion, and Tailwind CSS v4.

Current release: 0.1.0-alpha.0 (alpha tag). APIs may change between prereleases.

Install

bun add @momots/design@alpha @momots/core@beta @momots/host@alpha
bun add @base-ui/react @hugeicons/core-free-icons @hugeicons/react
bun add cva date-fns motion react react-dom remeda tailwind-merge tailwindcss type-fest

@ncdai/react-wheel-picker and motion-plus are installed by @momots/design. The other runtime packages above are peers so the application owns their versions.

Tailwind CSS

Import Tailwind, register the package's built class names, and choose a theme in the application's main stylesheet:

@import "tailwindcss";
@import "@momots/design/tailwind.css";
@import "@momots/design/themes/neutral.css";

The tailwind.css entry contains only a Tailwind @source directive. It does not add component styles by itself. Apply the selected theme class around the application:

import { Button } from '@momots/design/components/button';

export function App() {
  return (
    <main className='theme-neutral'>
      <Button>Continue</Button>
    </main>
  );
}

Import the picker stylesheet when using PickerCore, PickerDate, or PickerTime:

@import "@momots/design/picker.css";

Entry points

The root entry exports the supported components, effects, hooks, shared types, and Tailwind helpers. Focused entry points are also available:

import { Drawer } from '@momots/design/components/drawer';
import { Highlight } from '@momots/design/effects';
import { useControllableValue } from '@momots/design/hooks';
import type { ControlOption } from '@momots/design/shared';
import { cx } from '@momots/design/tailwind';

JavaScript entry points are ESM React Client Components. Type declarations are validated with TypeScript's Bundler and NodeNext module resolution modes.

Full component and theme documentation lives in the Momo documentation.
