Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

@monque/dashboard

v0.1.0

Published

Asset-only operator Dashboard for Monque

Readme

@monque/dashboard

Inspect Monque jobs and scheduler health in your browser. Filter a job list, share its URL, or open a job to view its payload and failures. You can retry, cancel, reschedule, or delete jobs when your API permissions allow it.

The dashboard supports light and dark themes and mobile layouts.

Installation

For Express applications, install the dashboard and Management API adapters:

bun add @monque/dashboard-express @monque/management-express @monque/management @monque/core express mongodb

Requires Node.js 22.12 or newer and Express 5.2.1 or newer within version 5. The Express adapter includes the built dashboard, so you do not need a frontend build or React installation.

Usage

In your Express server, mount both routers using your initialized Monque instance:

import { createDashboardExpressRouter } from '@monque/dashboard-express';
import { createManagementExpressRouter } from '@monque/management-express';

app.use('/ops', createManagementExpressRouter({ monque }));
app.use(
	'/ops/dashboard',
	createDashboardExpressRouter({
		apiBaseUrl: '/ops',
		pollingIntervalMs: 15_000,
	}),
);

Open /ops/dashboard on your application's origin. apiBaseUrl is the Management router's mount path, without /api/v1. The dashboard's base path comes from its Express mount. Omit pollingIntervalMs to disable automatic polling. Job lists use this base interval; queue statistics and health refresh every three intervals, and Health permissions every six. Polling adds up to 10% jitter, backs off after errors, and pauses in hidden tabs. Relative timestamps update locally without API requests.

All configuration is passed through the router options in your server code. The Express adapter handles browser configuration, assets, and direct links automatically.

See the Express README for a complete server example, authentication, and configuration options.

Other integrations

For a custom server adapter, use getDashboardAssetMetadata() to locate the built browser assets. The package does not export an embeddable React component. Use the Express adapter if you want a ready-made router.
