Next-Kit
A personal collection of reusable files, configurations, utilities, and project conventions I use to simplify the setup of my Next.js and web projects.
Next-Kit exists primarily to reduce repetitive setup work when starting new projects and to keep common configurations and development patterns in one place.
About
Setting up a new project often involves repeating the same tasks: configuring tools, adding utility files, setting project conventions, and bringing over commonly used configurations.
Next-Kit keeps those reusable pieces together so I can quickly bring them into my own projects when needed.
The contents of this repository may change over time as my development workflow evolves.
What's Inside
Depending on the current version, Next-Kit may contain things such as:
- Next.js configuration files
- TypeScript configurations
- ESLint and formatting configurations
- Reusable utilities and helpers
- Middleware
- Security-related configurations
- SEO utilities
- Project structure conventions
- Common components
- Development scripts
- Other files I frequently reuse across projects
Not everything included here is necessarily intended to work as a standalone package. Some files may require modification or additional dependencies before being used in a project.
Purpose
Next-Kit is built for my personal development workflow.
It is not intended to be a general-purpose Next.js starter template, framework, library, or boilerplate.
The repository is public primarily for transparency, reference, and convenient access to my own development resources.
