Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

v1.0.3

Shared loading card component with animations for Ommiii subsystems

Readme

@multiverse-tech/loading-card

Shared loading card component with bounce icon + dot animation for Ommiii subsystems.

Installation

npm install @multiverse-tech/loading-card

Setup (Important)

1. Tailwind v4 @source directive

This package uses Tailwind CSS classes internally. Tailwind v4 does not scan node_modules by default, so you must add a @source directive in your project's main CSS file to include this package:

/* Vite projects (App Hub, SSO Frontend) - in src/index.css */
@source "../node_modules/@multiverse-tech/loading-card/dist";

/* Next.js projects (EVoucher Frontend) - in src/app/globals.css */
@source "../../../node_modules/@multiverse-tech/loading-card/dist";

Without this, Tailwind classes like w-96, h-72, h-16, w-16 used inside the package will NOT be generated in your CSS output, causing the card to render incorrectly.

2. Import the CSS animations

The package ships a separate styles.css for animations (bounce, dot blink). Import it once in your wrapper component:

import "@multiverse-tech/loading-card/styles.css";

3. Create a local wrapper (recommended)

Each project should create a local HubLoadingCard wrapper that injects the project-specific icon URL, so individual pages don't need to repeat it:

// src/components/ui/LoadingCard.tsx
import { LoadingCard, DotText } from "@multiverse-tech/loading-card";
import "@multiverse-tech/loading-card/styles.css";

// Vite projects
const HUB_ICON_URL = import.meta.env.VITE_HUB_ICON_URL;

// Next.js projects
// const HUB_ICON_URL = process.env.NEXT_PUBLIC_HUB_ICON_URL!;

export function HubLoadingCard({ message = "Loading" }: { message?: string }) {
  return <LoadingCard iconUrl={HUB_ICON_URL} iconAlt="Ommiii Hub" message={message} />;
}

export { LoadingCard, DotText };

Then in pages:

import { HubLoadingCard } from "@/components/ui/LoadingCard";

<HubLoadingCard message="Completing login" />
