Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Streamory JavaScript SDK — A lightweight SDK to track custom events and send them securely to your Streamory analytics backend.


Installation

npm install @mynq/streamory-sdk

Usage

import StreamorySDK from "@mynq/streamory-sdk";

const sdk = new StreamorySDK(
    "your-api-key",
    "http://localhost:3000/v1/events"
);

// Track a custom event with optional properties
sdk.track("signup_click", { plan: "pro" });

API

new StreamorySDK(apiKey: string, endpoint?: string)
  • apiKey — Your project’s API key for authentication (required).
  • endpoint — The URL of your ingestion API. Defaults to http://localhost:3000/v1/events.
track(eventName: string, properties?: object): Promise<void>

Sends a custom event with optional properties to your Streamory backend.

  • eventName — Name of the event (e.g., "signup_click").
  • properties — Additional data related to the event.
