Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

@nativepi/throughput

A small Pi extension that reduces avoidable model round-trips. Pi already runs sibling tool calls concurrently; this package adds concise system-prompt guidance that makes the model emit independent reads, searches, edits, commands, MCP calls, questions, and delegated work together.

It does not reorder calls or guess whether operations are independent. The model retains that decision, and dependent or destructive operations remain separate.

Install

pi install @nativepi/throughput

Run /throughput in a session to see its calls-per-response and single-call-response rate. Higher calls per response and a lower single-call rate indicate fewer model round-trips; compare sessions doing similar work rather than unrelated tasks.
