Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

Scaffold a themed Neptune Odyssey starter app — Web, React, Vue, Svelte, React Native or Flutter — with the provider wired, a sample dashboard, styles imported and a brandprint set. `npm create @neptune.fintech` / `npx @neptune.fintech/create-neptune`.

Readme

@neptune.fintech/create-neptune

Scaffold a themed Neptune Odyssey starter app — provider wired, a sample dashboard screen, design-system styles imported, and a brandprint set — for any of six frameworks.

# interactive
npx @neptune.fintech/create-neptune

# or one-liner
npx @neptune.fintech/create-neptune my-bank --framework react --brand triton

npm create @neptune.fintech/neptune my-bank works too (npm rewrites the initializer to @neptune.fintech/create-neptune).

Frameworks

| id | stack | built around | | -------------- | ------------------------------------------------ | ------------------------------- | | web | TypeScript + Vite, web components, applyTheme() | @neptune.fintech/web-ui | | react | React 18 + Vite, <NeptuneProvider> + Npt* | @neptune.fintech/react-ui | | vue | Vue 3 + Vite, <NeptuneProvider> | @neptune.fintech/vue-ui | | svelte | Svelte 5 + Vite, use:theme | @neptune.fintech/svelte-ui | | react-native | Expo + React Native, <NeptuneProvider> | @neptune.fintech/react-native-ui | | flutter | Flutter + Material 3, NeptuneTheme | neptune_flutter_ui |

Each scaffolded app depends on the published @neptune.fintech/* packages.

Options

-f, --framework <id>   web | react | vue | svelte | react-native | flutter
-b, --brand <id>       neptune | triton | nereid | proteus   (default: neptune)
    --name <slug> npm package name (default: from directory)
    --title <text> display title (default: from name)
-m, --mode <mode> light | dark | system (default: system)
-d, --dir <dir> ltr | rtl | auto (default: ltr)
-y, --yes accept defaults, no prompts
    --force scaffold into a non-empty directory
-h, --help             show help
-v, --version          print version

system mode and auto direction are downgraded automatically for runtimes that don't support them (React Native, Flutter).

What you get

A single themed dashboard screen wired end-to-end: a balance card, stat tiles, quick actions, a transaction list and a bottom navigation bar — every surface reading Neptune design tokens, themed by the brand you pick. Swap the brand for a NO1-… brandprint string from the theme builder to wear any tenant's skin.
