@newly/sdk-core
Platform-agnostic analytics pipeline for the Newly SDK family.
Internal package — no API-stability promise. It is published to npm only because the public packages depend on it. Anything exported here can change in any release without notice; the public packages pin it at an exact version for exactly this reason. Do not depend on it directly — instrument apps with one of:
@newly/sdk-react-native— Expo / React Native apps@newly/sdk-web— web apps and PWAs@newly/sdk-server— backend event tracking (Node ≥ 20, Cloudflare Workers, Bun)
What lives here
The whole pipeline, written against injected interfaces (PlatformDeps) —
core never touches a platform API:
- normalize at
track()time (immutableevent_id+ timestamp; retries resend identical rows) - batching (≤ 20 events / ≤ 10 s / lifecycle background)
- persisted offline queue (10k-event cap, oldest-drop, restart-safe)
- transport (
{ sent_at, batch_seq, batch }envelope, full-jitter backoff,Retry-After, 401 halt) - sessions, identity, first-touch, per-install sampling
- error isolation: the public API never throws and never rejects
Design: docs/superpowers/specs/2026-07-04-newly-sdk-design.md in the Newly
monorepo.
