Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Nofinite Utils

A secure, lightweight, and production-ready utility library for modern Node.js and web applications.

Overview

Nofinite Utils provides a collection of carefully designed, reusable utilities for real-world applications.
It focuses on security, correctness, and developer experience, so you don’t have to rewrite critical logic again and again.

Secure by Default: Modern cryptography (Argon2id, SHA-256, JWT best practices).
Type-Safe: Fully written in TypeScript with strict typings.
Tree-Shakable: Modular design for optimal bundle size.

Installation

OTP Utilities: Secure OTP generation, verification, expiry, and attempt guards.
Crypto Helpers: Password hashing & verification using Argon2id.
JWT Utilities: Token signing and verification with safe defaults.
UUID Utilities: UUID v7 generation and binary conversions.
Env Helpers: Safe environment variable accessors.
Email Utilities: ZeptoMail helpers with typed, env-driven configuration.

All utilities are independent and tree-shakable, so you only ship what you use.
