Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Ephemeral research capsule for structured notes, signals, and short-lived investigation context.

Overview

  • Captures investigation context without turning notes into permanent state.
  • Keeps signals, observations, and capsule metadata structured.
  • Useful for short research passes and agent handoffs.

Install

npm install @nossen/scentgate

Signed job signals

Version 2.1 adds a small, closed notification contract for long-running jobs: job.completed, job.failed, and job.cancelled. Signals are HMAC-SHA256 signed, expire quickly, bind an issuer/audience/job id, and support an external nonce set for replay protection.

This API deliberately does not rename existing systems: BLOOP remains the Neo4j memory sonar and EKKO remains the audio capture service. A signal may only carry an optional bloopReportId that points to an existing BLOOP report.
