What is NW DB?

NW DB is an MCP-first, AI-native PostgreSQL DBaaS: HTAP (OLTP + OLAP) + pgvector vector search + multi-tenant isolation + production-grade security. Call it directly from Claude / Cursor over MCP, or via REST / SDK / SQL. Sign up at nwdb.dev — Hobby from ¥3,500/month (billed from sign-up; no free trial).

Quickstart

1. Get an API key

Sign up at nwdb.dev, create a workspace, and copy your API key from Settings → API Keys.

2a. Claude Code

Add to ~/.claude/mcp.json:

2c. Cursor

Settings → MCP → Add new server:

3. Restart your client

The 5 tools should appear: list_tables, describe_table, query, insert, search_vectors.
