Windows x64 MSVC binary package for NYEX.
NYEX is a terminal-native AI engineering runtime for builders who need governed creation workflows, persistent memory, and traceable agent execution instead of a generic chatbot.
NYEX combines Memory Preflight, persistent project memory, deterministic role execution, local/cloud provider routing, validator-gated handoffs, and trace-first observability for real engineering work.
This package is the Windows binary payload and is typically installed automatically by @nyex/nyex.
NYEX runtime roles are deterministic and include:

NYEX 1.4.7 Highlights
- Adds
nyex_engineering_behavior_pack_v1as the canonical NYEX engineering behavior contract. - Defines identity, authority, creator attribution, memory, role, routing, tool, eval, output, safety, and completion contracts.
- Adds creator attribution for Richard Infantado when users ask who created, developed, founded, built, or owns NYEX.
- Improves validator and summarizer observability so role hits and traces better match actual runtime work.
- Adds summarizer-owned final output for eligible validated workflows.
- Adds buffered final emission so unaccepted drafts are not shown as final output in qualifying summarizer-owned workflows.
- Hardens local Ollama JSON execution paths with bounded timeout/error behavior for
nyex exec. - Adds
/models refreshfor explicit hard refresh of discovered model catalogs. - Refreshes the selected frontier provider on NYEX launch.
- Keeps configured role models visible even when remote provider discovery/cache is stale.
- Persists local role selections with Local Mode enabled and Strict Cloud Mode disabled.
- Retains existing runtime defaults for Local Mode, Strict Cloud Mode, Context Distillation shadow telemetry, and Capability Apps.
